By using VTUSync, you acknowledge and agree to this Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.

No official affiliation with VTU or institutions

VTUSync is an independent platform created to help students view and analyze results, discover resources, gigs, and events, and connect with communities. VTUSync is not an official product, service, or portal of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) or any college, university, or institution, unless we clearly state otherwise in writing on an official VTUSync channel.

Any references to VTU, colleges, exams, syllabi, or similar information are for convenience and informational purposes only and do not imply endorsement, sponsorship, authorization, or partnership.

No guarantees about accuracy or completeness

VTUSync aims to provide useful tools and information, but:

  • Result data, analytics, rankings, notes, events, gigs, job listings, and other content in the app may be incomplete, delayed, user‑generated, or based on third‑party sources.
  • VTUSync does not promise that any information shown is perfectly accurate, complete, current, or suitable for a particular purpose.

You should always verify critical academic, career, or financial decisions with official sources such as your university, college, exam authority, or employer. VTUSync is not responsible for decisions you make based on content shown in the app.

User‑generated and third‑party content

Much of the content on VTUSync is created by users (students, teachers, creators) or third parties (institutions, sponsors, or external services). This includes, for example, notes, posts, comments, events, gigs, job listings, and external links.

VTUSync does not routinely verify or endorse user‑generated or third‑party content and does not guarantee its legality, accuracy, quality, or reliability. Any opinions expressed by users are their own and do not represent VTUSync.

You access and rely on such content at your own risk. You are responsible for evaluating whether a gig, job, event, or opportunity is genuine and appropriate for you.

No professional or academic advice

Content on VTUSync is for general informational and educational purposes only. Nothing in the app or on our website is intended to amount to:

Gigs, jobs, events, and offline interactions

VTUSync may allow users to post and discover gigs, tasks, jobs, internships, events, or meetups. These listings are created by users or third parties, not by VTUSync (unless explicitly marked otherwise).

VTUSync does not:

  • Run background checks on users, organizers, or employers
  • Guarantee payment, conditions, or outcomes of any gig, job, or event
  • Supervise, manage, or control offline interactions or agreements between users

If you choose to attend an event, take a gig, or meet someone you connected with through VTUSync, you do so at your own risk. You are solely responsible for your safety, due diligence, and any agreements you enter into.

No warranty and limitation of liability

VTUSync is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, as more fully described in our Terms of Service. VTUSync does not guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, free of errors, secure, or that defects will always be corrected.

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • VTUSync is not liable for any loss, damage, or harm arising from your use of the app, your reliance on any content, or your interactions with other users or third parties.
  • VTUSync is not responsible for lost data, inaccuracies, service interruptions, or any indirect or consequential damages.
